SE: Mallorca, Celta and Porto tried to sign Zakharyan in the winter transfer window
MOSCOW, Jan 31 — Football clubs Mallorca, Celta, Porto and Ferencvaros tried to acquire midfielder Dynamo and the Russian national team Arsen Zakharyan in the winter transfer window.
Spanish clubs, as well as a team from Hungary, took official steps to complete the transfer. In particular, they were ready to pay a compensation in the amount of 15 million euros.
According to the source, the teams refused to directly pay funds for the player to the Moscow club due to the political situation. One of the proposed options was self-repayment by the football player, with the subsequent return of the amount as lifting.
In the first part of the Russian Premier League (RPL) season, Zakharyan took part in 16 matches in which he scored two goals.
