SAMARA, 20 Nov – The coach of the silver medalist of the 2022 Olympics Alexandra Trusova, Svetlana Sokolovskaya, stopped the autograph session of the figure skater, taking her away from the fans on the sidelines of the Sports Palace in Samara.

Trusova had previously placed second at the fifth round of the Russian Grand Prix in Samara. After her performance in the free program, an unknown man in a jacket and hood came out onto the ice and gave the skater flowers. Nobody stopped him from doing this. Later, Trusova’s admirer was detained by the security service, and additional guards were placed near the ice.

After some time, Trusova’s autograph session was organized in a narrow corridor at the entrance to the sports palace in the presence of police officers. More than 200 people gathered to take pictures with the skater. From time to time, the police had to stop the fans who were pushing screaming in the corridor. About half an hour later, Sokolovskaya came out to Trusova and stopped the autograph session, taking the figure skater to the sidelines of the sports palace.
