COVID-19: Shahrukh Khan came forward to help people

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL) team, Trinbado Knight Riders (TKR), on Friday, locked 1000 of needy people in trouble in the lockdown caused by Coronavirus in Trinidad and Tobago. Decided to distribute food packets.

Shahrukh Khan has already come forward to help the poor in India – Earlier, Shahrukh Khan had announced many more help along with donating to PM Cares Fund.

It has been written in this tweet, that Kolkata Knight Riders co-honors Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Juhi Chawla Mehta, and Jai Mehta have pledged to contribute to the PM Cares Fund. Shahrukh Khan, along with Mir Foundation, has pledged to feed 5500 families in Mumbai for one month every day.

He also announced to provide meal kits to poor and daily laborers for one month. Shahrukh Khan has also pledged to contribute to the Maharashtra CM Relief Fund.

Apart from this, PPE was also promised to provide 50,000 personal protective equipment i.e. for the support and protection of health care workers.
