Caribbean Premier League 2020 Schedule, Teams, Time Table, Fixtures, Date: Cricket came to a halt in March with the escalation of the coronavirus crisis. The outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic has not abated, but the games have begun. The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) will kick off with the first major domestic T20 tournament authorized by the International Cricket Council after stalled cricket after the coronavirus.

The tournament will start with a match between Shah Rukh Khan’s proprietary Trinbago Knight Riders and Guyana Amazon Warriors. The opening match will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad. The tournament will start from August 18. The final of the tournament is scheduled for September 10. A total of 33 matches are to be played in this tournament. All of these matches will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium and at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.

Praveen Tambe is the first Indian to take part in this tournament. He has a unique record of taking 3 wickets in 2 balls in the Indian Premier League (IPL). This feat he did in the 2014 IPL. In the CPL he is part of the Trinbago Knight Riders. Trinbago Knight Riders is a subsidiary franchise of Kolkata Knight Riders.
