CSKA earned a draw in the RPL match with Krylya Sovetov, winning back from a score of 0:2
MOSCOW, September 16 – CSKA players played a draw with Samara’s Krylia Sovetov in the eighth round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
The meeting in Moscow ended with a score of 2:2. Nikolai Rasskazov (2nd minute) and Nikita Saltykov (22nd minute) scored for the guests. The army team bounced back thanks to goals from Anton Zabolotny (32nd, from the penalty spot) and Fedor Chalov (75th). In the 62nd minute, after the second yellow card, CSKA defender Willian Rocha left the field, and in the end, defender Alexander Soldatenkov (90+1) was sent off for the last hope foul.
CSKA tied for the third time in a row and, with 12 points from eight matches, ranks sixth in the RPL standings, Samara is second with 15 points. In the next round, the Moscow club will play away against Rostov on September 24, and Krylya Sovetov will host Sochi the day before.
