MOSCOW, 29 Mar – CSKA Moscow defeated Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and reached the final of the playoffs of the Western Conference of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).

The seventh meeting of the series, held in Moscow, ended with a score of 5:0 (2:0, 1:0, 2:0) in favor of the hosts. Anton Slepyshev (5th minute), Vitaly Abramov (10), Vladislav Kamenev (34), Andrey Svetlakov (45) and Mikhail Grigorenko (56) distinguished themselves among the winners.

CSKA won the series 4-3. CSKA forward Maxim Mamin played his 400th game in the KHL.

In the semi-finals of the Gagarin Cup, CSKA will play with SKA St. Petersburg. The teams will face each other for the fifth time in a row in the Western Conference Finals.
