MOSCOW, May 14 – The Czech national ice hockey team defeated Great Britain in their first match at the World Championships in Finland.
The Group B meeting took place in Tampere and ended with a score of 5:1 in favor of the Czechs, who were scored by Matej Blumel (28th, 49th minutes), Jakub Flek (33), David Jiřicek (42) and Jiri Chernoch (47) ).
