Rishabh Pant to continue as captain of Delhi Capitals
In an official statement, Delhi Capitals wrote that JSW-GMR co-owner Delhi Capitals today announced that Rishabh Pant will continue as the captain for the remaining matches of the upcoming IPL 2021 season. Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal also tweeted saying that Rishabh Pant had a great captaincy in the first leg. Therefore, it has been decided to keep him on this responsibility for the rest of the matches.
Rishabh Pant was made the captain in his place due to an injury suffered before IPL 2021, who has led the team well. Shreyas Iyer had also given a statement regarding the captaincy of Delhi, during an interview Shreyas Iyer said that the team management will decide on this matter.
