Rooney’s Derby County relegated to England’s third division

MOSCOW, 18 April – Football club “Derby County” lost the chance to stay in the Championship.
Derby County lost 0-1 away to Queens Park Rangers on Monday and were relegated from England’s second-best division with three rounds to go.
The team, managed by former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, is 23rd in the table after 43 matches with 31 points. During the tournament, the club was penalized 21 points in total for violating the league’s financial rules.
Derby County last played in the English third division in 1986.
