MOSCOW, 22 Jul – Vice-champion of the Olympic Games in Tokyo Dina Averina was out of the top three after the second type of all-around at the international rhythmic gymnastics competition “Crystal Rose” in Minsk.
Earlier, the Sport24 portal reported that Dina Averina was injured during a test as part of a tournament in Minsk. President of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics Irina Viner-Usmanova said that the athlete will perform at the Crystal Rose tournament.
According to the results of exercises with a hoop and a ball, Dina Averina scored 70.75 points and takes the fifth position. Her sister Arina is third with 71.3 points.
The leader is Alina Gornosko (73.55 points) from Belarus, the second is Russian Lala Kramarenko (71.95).
In addition to the silver Olympic medal, 23-year-old Dina Averina has 18 gold medals at the world championships.
