Djokovic says he had a great tie-break against Tsitsipas

MOSCOW, 15 Nov – Serbian Novak Djokovic, after defeating the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first round match of the group stage of the final tournament of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in Turin, said that he kept the serve well throughout the game and had a great tie-break.
The meeting of the red group ended with the score 6:4, 7:6 (7:4) in favor of the Serb, seeded under the seventh number. Tsitsipas has the second sowing number. The score in personal meetings was 10:2 in favor of Djokovic.

“The first game was very important, I took his serve. Starting from the break certainly gives a huge boost of confidence and relief. We both knew that the match was going to be intense,” said Djokovic, quoted by the ATP official website.
“In recent tournaments, we played some very tense matches against each other. It was extremely important to start well. I kept my serve very well throughout the match and had a great tie-break, played very confidently until the very end,” the tennis player added.
Djokovic has won the ATP Finals five times.
