Double-double Doncic helped Slovenia beat Georgia in the World Cup match
MOSCOW, 28 Aug – The Slovenian national basketball team defeated the Georgian team in the match of the second round of the preliminary round of the World Cup, hosted by Indonesia, the Philippines and Japan.
Group F meeting, which took place in Okinawa (Japan), ended with the score 88:67 (16:17, 29:16, 18:17, 25:17) in favor of the Slovenes. As part of the winners, a double-double was scored by Luka Doncic (34 points, 10 rebounds). Sandro Mamukelashvili scored the most points for the Georgian team – 21.
