England players will not join hands with Sri Lanka due to Coronavirus

Coronavirus is being wreaked havoc all over the world. It is also impacting the sports world. England captain Joe Root has said that his players will not join hands on the Sri Lanka tour due to the risk of Coronavirus infection.

Joe Root was asked questions related to coronavirus on Monday on March 2. To which he gave this answer. The captain said that instead of joining hands, players would greet each other by hitting the fists.

Let us know that before the first Test on South Africa tour and during this, many members of the England team had to suffer from stomach discomfort and flu problem.

To this, Root said that we understand the importance of minimal contact after team members are troubled by the disease in South Africa and our medical team has given us practical advice to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
