Ex-coach of “Volgar” Uchurov suspended from football for five years for participating in sweepstakes

MOSCOW, 26 Jul – The Ethics Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) has banned the former coach of the Astrakhan “Volgar” Eduard Uchurov to carry out any activity related to football for five years, according to the website of the organization.
“In connection with the violations committed by Eduard Uchurov of Article 18 of the RFU ethics regulations, in accordance with Articles 3 and 4 of the RFU ethics regulations, apply a sanction in the form of a ban on any football-related activities for a period of five years,” the report says.
Article 18 of the RFU ethics regulations provides for a ban on participation in football sweepstakes and gambling.
