Skier Faleeva won the race at the Russian roller ski championship
MOSCOW, September 18 – Anastasia Faleeva became the winner of the 15 km classic style race at the Russian summer championship (roller skis), which takes place at the Malinovka sports center in the Arkhangelsk region.
Faleeva covered the distance in 43 minutes 36.1 seconds. Olga Tsareva was second (22 seconds behind), Maria Istomina was third (+27.2).
Olympic champions Yulia Stupak and Veronika Stepanova did not start.
The Russian Summer Championship in the Arkhangelsk region will end on Monday with the men’s 20 km classic style race.
