MOSCOW, 4 Aug – Turkish football club “Fenerbahce” defeated the Czech “Slovacko” in the first match of the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

The meeting in Istanbul ended with the score 3:0 in favor of the home team. The scoring was opened by Emre Mor (17th minute). Lincoln scored a double in the Turkish club (45+2, 81). Guests finished the match in the minority. In the 48th minute, having received a second yellow card, Slovacko defender Stanislav Hoffman was sent off.
Earlier, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) launched a disciplinary investigation due to the behavior of Fenerbahce fans in the Champions League qualification match against the Ukrainian Dynamo (Kyiv). The reason was the behavior of the fans, who chanted the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin at the match. Fenerbahce condemned the behavior of their fans, but club president Ali Koç said the Turkish side would not apologize to Ukraine over the incident.
In another match of the day, the Swedish “Malmo” also won the majority against the Luxembourg “Dudelange” – 3:0.
