Charles Leclerc won first practice at the Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1
MOSCOW, September 15 – Ferrari drivers Monegasque Charles Leclerc and Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr. showed first and second results in the first part of free practice at the 16th stage of the Formula 1 championship – the Singapore Grand Prix.
Leclerc’s best lap was 1 minute 33.350 seconds. Sainz was 0.078 seconds behind his teammate. The third was the current champion and championship leader, Dutchman Max Verstappen from Red Bull (+0.126 s).
Seven-time Formula 1 champion, Briton Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes, showed the fifth result (+0.190).
The second practice will take place later on Friday. The third part of free practice and qualifying will take place on Saturday, and the race itself will take place on Sunday, September 17.
