Ferrari drivers became the best in the second training session in Singapore
MOSCOW, September 15 – Ferrari drivers Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr. and Monegasque Charles Leclerc showed the best time in the second part of free practice at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix following the first practice.
In the second practice, Sainz was the best with a time of 1 minute 32.120 seconds, while Leclerc was 0.018 seconds behind his teammate. In the first practice, Leclerc was the best and Sainz was second.
Third place went to the British Mercedes driver George Russell (+0.235), and the current champion and season leader, the Dutchman Max Verstappen from Red Bull, showed only the eighth result (+0.732). Russell’s Mercedes partner, seven-time Formula 1 champion, Briton Lewis Hamilton, was fifth (+0.465).
The third part of the free practice and qualifying will take place on Saturday, and the race itself will take place on Sunday, September 17.
