FIA warns Red Bull advisor for comments against Perez
MOSCOW, September 16 – Advisor to the Red Bull Formula 1 team, Helmut Marko, received a written warning for making comments about Mexican driver Sergio Perez, Sky Sports reports, citing a representative of the International Automobile Federation (FIA).
Earlier, Marco said that the Mexican is inferior to Dutch teammate Max Verstappen because he is not so focused on the track, and explained this by the fact that Perez is South American, although Mexico is located in North America. The functionary later apologized for his statement. The driver himself stated that Marco was not trying to deliberately insult him.
