Coach Galtier says he is determined after accusations of racism
MOSCOW, September 17 – Former Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier said he had endured pressure amid accusations of racism, but is now determined.
Earlier, an excerpt from an email from Julien Fournier, who worked with Galtier at Nice, was published in the media. In it, he accused the current head coach of PSG of racism. According to him, Galtier once told him that there “can’t be so many blacks and Muslims” at Nice.
Galtier took charge of PSG before the start of the 2022/23 season, signing a two-year contract with the club. Under his leadership, the capital team won its 11th French championship title. He was replaced at the head of PSG in July by the former coach of Barcelona and the Spanish national football team, Luis Enrique.
