Former boxing champion Flanagan jumped on Haaland after a goal
MOSCOW, 28 Aug – Former world boxing champion Terry Flanagan ran onto the field and jumped on Manchester City footballer Erling Haaland after the Norwegian goal in the third round of the English championship against Sheffield United, according to the Daily Mail.
The meeting was held in Sheffield on Sunday and ended with the victory of the guests – 2:1. Holland opened the scoring in the 63rd minute. After the goal was scored, Flanagan ran from the stands onto the field, he jumped on the back of the football player, and then hugged him. The stewards took the boxer off the field.
Flanagan is 34 years old. He held the World Boxing Organization’s lightweight championship belt from 2015 to 2017.
