MOSCOW, 17 Sep – The pilot of the “Formula 1” team “Williams” Thai Alexander Albon, who suffered complications after surgery due to appendicitis, said he hopes to take part in the Singapore Grand Prix.
Albon fell ill on 10 September and was hospitalized with acute appendicitis, which forced him to be replaced at the Italian Grand Prix by reserve driver Nick de Vries. After the operation, the athlete experienced complications associated with the effects of anesthesia, which led to respiratory failure. The rider spent the night on artificial lung ventilation.
Stage “Formula 1” in Singapore will be held from 30 September to 2 October.
