MOSCOW, 28 Jul – Brazilian footballer and coach Mario Zagallo has been hospitalized with a respiratory infection.
Zagallo was hospitalized on Tuesday. He was taken to the intensive care unit of a hospital in Rio de Janeiro.
It is noted that the 90-year-old coach is conscious and breathes on his own. He was tested for coronavirus, which gave a negative result.
Zagallo is the only person to have won the FIFA World Cup four times: twice as a player, once as a head coach and once as an assistant coach. He also became the first to win the world championship as a player and as a coach. This achievement was later repeated by Franz Beckenbauer and Didier Deschamps.
