MOSCOW, 24 July – Argentine fans will record audio and video messages in memory of football player Diego Maradona, which will then be sent into space aboard the Space Serpent satellite, along with a pair of world champion boots, reports France-Presse.
According to the source, the idea belongs to an unnamed private company that organized the recording of fans’ appeals. It took several months to collect applications. After that, they will be compiled and placed on the hard drive of the satellite, named after Maradona, who had the nickname Space Serpent. It is assumed that messages will be collected from fans from all over the world.
The date and place of the launch of the satellite has not yet been determined.
Maradona died on November 25, 2020 at the age of 60.
