Gautam Gambhir selected India’s playing XI for T20 World Cup match against Pakistan

Former opener Gautam Gambhir has selected the playing XI of the Indian team for the match against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. The match will be played between India and Pakistan on October 24 and Gautam Gambhir told which players should enter this match.

Gautam Gambhir has selected five batsmen, two all-rounders, one spinner and three fast bowlers in his playing XI for the high-voltage match against Pakistan. They have not included Ravichandran Ashwin in their playing XI.

For the opening, Gambhir chose Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, while at number three he kept captain Virat Kohli. At the same time, he has also selected Suryakumar Yadav in the playing XI. Rishabh Pant has been included in the team as a wicket-keeper batsman.

Apart from this, Gautam Gambhir has selected Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja as all-rounders. At the same time, Varun Chakraborty has been included as a spin bowler. Whereas Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah have been selected as three main bowlers.

During a conversation on Star Sports, Gautam Gambhir selected his playing XI for this important match of the T20 World Cup. They said,

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma will open the innings. Virat Kohli will bat at number three. Apart from this, Suryakumar Yadav will be fourth, Rishabh Pant fifth, Hardik Pandya sixth, Ravindra Jadeja seventh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar eighth, Varun Chakraborty 9th, Mohammed Shami 10th and Jasprit Bumrah 11th.

Gautam Gambhir said that if Shardul Thakur was part of the main team, he would have selected him at number 8 and then he would not have selected Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Let us tell you that the qualifier matches for the T20 World Cup will start from October 17. Six days later, the main event will begin with the match between Australia and South Africa. The first match of the Indian team will be against Pakistan on October 24.
