UFA, 28 Jul – The Supreme Court of Bashkiria dismissed Shamil Gazizov, general director of the Ufa football club, in a lawsuit against Spartak Moscow to recognize his dismissal as illegal, the court reported.
Lawsuits between Gazizov and Spartak have been going on for more than two years.
The united press service of Bashkiria said that Gazizov filed a lawsuit against Spartak to declare illegal the termination of the employment contract, dismissal, reinstatement in the position of general director, recovery of earnings during forced absenteeism, compensation for moral damage.
“The Supreme Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan … dismissed the claim,” the press service said.
Gazizov served as CEO of Spartak from July to December 2020. Before moving to the capital club, the functionary held a similar position in Ufa. Now he is working again in the Bashkir club.
