Golovin’s ball did not save the Monaco players from defeat in the match against Southampton

MOSCOW, 28 Jul – “Monaco” lost to the English “Southampton” in a friendly football match.

The meeting, held in Southampton, ended with the score 3:1. For the winners, Adam Armstrong (51st), Stuart Armstrong (72) and James Ward-Prowse (87) scored. Russian national team midfielder Alexander Golovin (39) scored among the guests.

“Southampton” on July 30 at his stadium will play a friendly match with the Spanish “Villarreal”, and “Monaco” on August 2 at home will be the first game of the third round of the Champions League qualification against the Dutch PSV.
