Greece kicks off international boxing tournament “Acropolis Cup”

In Greece, after an 18-year break, the prestigious Acropolis Cup tournament returns to the international boxing arena.
According to the official website of the Boxing Federation of Ukraine (FBU), the competition will be held in Athens from 16 to 20 June, Ukrinform reports.
The Acropolis Cup will be held in all 12 women’s and 13 men’s elite weight categories.
The most promising young domestic boxers went to Greece together with the head coach of the men’s national team of Ukraine Leonid Loevsky: Ruslan Tsikalo (weight category up to 60 kg), Danilo Lozan (63.5 kg), Bozorboy Matyakubov (67 kg), Kirill Taran (71 kg). ), Matvey Razhba (80 kg), Vladimir Kotlyarov (86 kg) and Alexander Gritsiv (over 92 kg).
Competition schedule:
June 16-17 – preliminary bouts
June 18 – semi-final fights
June 19 – final fights.
