MOSCOW, 23 Jul – The head coach of the English “Manchester City” Pep Guardiola admitted that he regrets the departure of Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Alexander Zinchenko, who created a great atmosphere in the team.
Jesus and Zinchenko moved to Arsenal this summer, while Sterling went to Chelsea.
“We are sad because Raheem, Gabriel and Alex were incredibly loved. They created a special atmosphere in the dressing room, the chemistry was incredible, which helped me a lot when I first arrived in Manchester,” City’s official website quotes Guardiola.
Erling Haaland, Julián Alvarez, Calvin Phillips and Stefan Ortega have joined Manchester City this offseason.
“One of the things I try to figure out before we buy a player is he’s a good person. I don’t like working with the bad guys. Hours of tactical practice can’t fix it. We bought exceptional players this summer,” the coach added.
