MOSCOW, 24 July – Manchester City’s Norwegian footballer Erling Haaland called Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola a little crazy, but said he liked it.
Haaland signed for Manchester City in June. The striker moved to the English club from the German “Borussia” (Dortmund).
“Guardiola is a little crazy, I love it. It’s going to be fun. I’ve been with the team for a week, I can’t say it’s a lot. But I’ve trained well and I’m ready for what’s to come. I have to admit that now my form is not perfect, but it will come. I’m not worried about it. I’m positive about the upcoming season. I think it’s going to be damn good,” Holland was quoted as saying by VG.
Manchester City beat German Bayern Munich 1-0 in a friendly match on Saturday as part of the teams’ pre-season tour of the United States. The only goal in this meeting was scored by Haaland.
