Hanuma Vihari left Andhra’s team, will now play for another team

Indian batsman Hanuma Vihari will now play for Hyderabad in domestic cricket. Earlier he used to play for Andhra. Andhra has also given a no-objection certificate to Hanuma Vihari. Hanuma Vihari had represented Andhra in domestic cricket for the last five years. Now he will be seen giving strength to the Hyderabad team.

Issuing a statement, Hanuma Vihari said that I take this opportunity to inform everyone that I am leaving the Andhra Cricket Association on good terms. I have had the privilege of captaining and representing Andhra for the last five years. We have grown into a team that we can be proud of and I thank all our teammates, coaches and office bearers of the association for their continued support. From the coming season I will be a part of Hyderabad Cricket Association.

Hanuma Vihari had moved from Hyderabad to Andhra in 2015 for better opportunities and luckily he managed to play for the Indian team. He played for India in Test cricket. Hanuma Vihari was with the team on the England tour but he did not get any chance to play. He failed to make the last eleven.

Hanuma Vihari was in the Indian team on the Australia tour and Team India defeated Australia in the Test series. It was expected that he would also get the IPL contract but it did not happen. Cheteshwar Pujara, who plays like him, has been selected by Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.

The BCCI has announced the home series and the domestic season will begin with the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Ranji Trophy is an important tournament but it will not be held this year. There will be no Ranji Trophy for the second year in a row. It will be organized next year. Hanuma Vihari’s game in the domestic season will be worth watching.
