How to make a healthy salad for dinner

Salad is a universal dish, but in fact, according to many, you can’t get enough of one salad. In fact, you can eat a salad if it is protein.

Protein salad is a good way to satisfy your hunger for a long time. Especially if it contains ingredients such as chicken, fish (mainly salmon), beans and whole grains. All these products will provide you with energy and strength for a long time.

The main rule for all protein salads is that they must combine a certain set of products, where eggs and milk are the main components. Also on the list of ingredients are chicken, turkey, lean meats, fish and seafood, legumes, fruits and vegetables.

Here is an easy protein salad recipe.

You will need:

  • almonds – 100 g;
  • chili pepper – 1/4 tsp;
  • fresh greens (for example, spinach, iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce) – 300 g;
  • bulgur – 70 g;
  • chickpeas – 70 g;
  • beans – 70 g;
  • red onion – 1/2 pc.;
  • olive oil – to taste.

Fry the almonds in a frying pan, add olive oil and spices. Put bulgur in a separate container, add greens, oil and onion. In a salad bowl, mix all the ingredients and enjoy a delicious and healthy salad.
