Russians Hovhannisyan and Chernysheva won bronze medals at the World Karate Championship

MOSCOW, 20 Nov – Russian karate fighters Yurik Hovhannisyan and Anna Chernysheva won bronze medals at the World Karate Championship in the UAE.
Hovhannisyan won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 60 kg, Chernysheva – up to 55 kg.
In the medal standings, the Russians, with two bronze medals, share the 16th line with the teams of Croatia, Kazakhstan and Turkey. The Egyptian national team is in the lead (two gold, two silver and three bronze medals), the second place is for the Japanese (2-1-2), the third is for the Spaniards (2-1-0).
The competition will end on Sunday.
