The ICC officially released the new T20 rankings. Where Kohli’s place occupied by Eoin Morgan.
The three-match series played between England and South Africa has ended. In the last match of the series, England captain Eoin Morgan batted with a bang, due to which England won the series 2–1. Eoin Morgan also benefited from this innings in the T20 rankings and has left behind Indian captain Virat Kohli.
17 February 2020, the ICC released the latest list of T20 rankings. There is no difference in KL Rahul’s position in this and he is in second place after Babar Azam.
Morgan has the man of the match and man of the series in the T20 series against South Africa. He has captured Virat’s place and reached the ninth position. While Virat Kohli has slipped to 10th position.
South Africa captain Quinton De Kock has also gained a lot and has jumped 10 places to reach the 16th rank. Babar Azam continues to be on the top of the batsmen’s list, while Rashid Khan of Afghanistan also occupies the first place in terms of bowling.
