ICC World Test Championship final: Team India’s announcement for Test Championship final and England series

The BCCI Senior Selection Committee on Friday announced the squad for the five-match Test series with England after the match, in addition to the World Test Championship final in New Zealand in June.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced Team India on Friday for the World Test Championship Final (ICC World Test Championship Final) and Test series against England. In the team, veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and fast bowler Mohammed Shami have returned. Team India will take on New Zealand in the WTC final.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who has overcome fitness problems, and batsman Hanuma Vihari, return to India’s 20-member Test squad for the World Test Championship final against New Zealand next month and a five-match series against England. The selectors have also put Abhimanyu Easwaran, renowned Krishna, Avesh Khan and Arjan Nagwaswala in the squad as standby.

KL Rahul, who has undergone appendix operations and Corona-infected Wriddhiman Saha, has been retained in the squad provided they are fully fit. Jadeja and Vihari were hurt during the Australia tour. The World Test Championship final against New Zealand will be played at Southampton on 18 June, while the series against England will begin on 4 August.
