India vs Australia (IND vs AUS) 3rd ODI Highlights: Virat Kohli bowled by scoring 89 runs and Rohit Sharma scored 119 runs.
Australia started off to bat first after winning the toss. Team opener David Warner was caught by KL Rahul at the hands of Jaspreet Bumrah after just three runs.
Smith-Labushane played a brilliant inning, on which Australia set a target of 287 runs in front of India.
When Team India landed to chase this goal, Shikhar Dhawan remained out of the ground due to injury. KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma started chasing this goal. Both looked in a good rhythm but KL Rahul was out. After this, there was a wonderful century partnership between Kohli and Rohit.
Rohit scored 119 runs and put him in the bag of Team India. After this, Kohli also played brilliant innings of 89 runs. At the same time, in the subsequent overs, Iyer batted brilliantly and won the match by 7 wickets. With this victory, Team India has won the series 2-1.
The series was expected to be exciting from the start but the way Australia won the first match unilaterally, it seemed a one-time affair that they would be able to win their second consecutive series in India.
India Team – however, made a spectacular comeback in Rajkot by performing brilliantly in every department and proved that it was hasty to make haste after a ten-wicket defeat in Mumbai. Most importantly, India brought their batting combination to a standstill in the second ODI and KL Rahul also took full advantage of the opportunity at number five.
Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan opened the innings while captain Virat Kohli landed his favorite number three and Shreyas Iyer came in at number four.
