If we talk about the 2019 IPL, it ended in 51 days. But this year’s IPL game will be six days more than that.

According to media reports, Star Sports has the rights to broadcast the IPL 2020. They want the matches to start very early. The audience will not have to face any problem returning home as the match starts early.

If sources are to be believed, it has been decided to hold only one match a day in view of the spectators’ problems due to the demand of the broadcaster and the matches ending in the late night.

The broadcaster will be happy because having a match will also increase its TRP.

However, the IPL franchises have largely disagreed with the IPL governing body’s decision to start the match at 7:30 PM.

An IPL franchisee official said, “If you live in a metro city, you cannot say anything about the traffic there.” Especially in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, it is difficult to say anything. What do you think that people will be able to leave their office at 6 o’clock on the match day and then they will be able to reach the stadium with their family?

Obviously, this issue will also have to be considered while changing the timing of the match.

Only the time, final match and start date of IPL 2020 have been set, but the full schedule has not been released so far.
