Following ceasefire between India and Pakistan, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed resumption of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, picking up where it left off after suspension due to military tensions.

BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia announced matches will restart next Friday in Dharamsala with Punjab Kings facing Delhi Capitals. The same fixture abandoned mid-game on May 8 due to air raid alerts.
