MOSCOW, 18 Mar – Yekaterinburg “Ural” will meet with Moscow “Spartak” in the semi-finals of the RPL of the Cup of Russia on April 4, according to the Telegram channel of the Russian Football Union (RFU).

The second leg of the 1/2 finals will start at 17:00 (Moscow time).

In another pair, CSKA Moscow will meet with the Samara “Wings of the Soviets” a day later at 19:30.

The semi-final matches of the Russian Cup regions between Dynamo Moscow and Akron Togliatti, as well as between Krasnodar and Rostov, will be held on April 4 (19:30 Moscow time) and April 6 (20:00 Moscow time), respectively. The confrontation will consist of one match. The winners of the regional path pairs will play with the losers in the RPL path semi-finals.

The Russian Cup is held in a new format, the teams go to the final in two ways. The clubs of the Russian Premier League (RPL path) were divided into four groups, in which they played games in two rounds. The teams that took the first two places in their groups advanced to the playoffs of the RPL path; those who took third place continued to fight in the playoffs of the path of the regions. Teams from the First and Second Leagues, as well as amateur clubs, started on the way to the regions. In the final of the Cup of Russia, the winners of the RPL path and the path of the regions will meet.
