MOSCOW, 20 Jul – Juventus have reached an agreement with Torino on the transfer of defender Gleison Bremer, according to the official website of the Turin club.
The contract with the 25-year-old Brazilian has been signed until 2027. The transfer amount was 41 million euros. Another 8 million Torino can receive as bonuses when a player achieves certain results.
“In his three seasons in Italy, Bremer has established himself as one of the best defenders. He is the player with the most interceptions (105) in the top five major European leagues in 2021/22. In the same season, he became the league’s top defender by the number of martial arts won (217) and air duels (132),” Juventus said.
Bremer made 33 appearances for Torino last season, scoring three goals and providing one assist. In total, in Serie A, the defender has 11 goals and three assists in 98 games.
Earlier, Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt left Juventus, who moved to the German Bayern, and Argentine striker Paolo Dybala, who joined Roma on a free transfer.
