MOSCOW, 22 Oct – Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya withdrew from the quarterfinal match of the tournament in Guadalajara, Mexico, the prize fund of which exceeds $2.5 million.

In the quarterfinals, Kalinskaya met with the representative of the Czech Republic, Maria Bouzkova. The Russian woman refused to continue the fight during the first set with the score 5:2 in favor of her opponent. Tennis players spent 28 minutes on the court.

In the semi-finals of the tournament, Bouzkova will play with Greek Maria Sakkari (fourth seed), who defeated Russian Veronika Kudermetova (8).
