MOSCOW, 19 Jul – Forward Vladislav Kamenev has extended the agreement with CSKA, according to the website of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club.
The new agreement with the 25-year-old Russian is for two years.
Kamenev joined the team in October after being traded from Sibir Novosibirsk, for which he did not play a single game. As part of the army team, he played a total of 49 matches, scored 33 points (12 goals and 21 assists) and helped the team win the Gagarin Cup.
Kamenev began his professional career with Metallurg Magnitogorsk, where he won the Gagarin Cup in 2014, after which he left for the National Hockey League (NHL), where he played for the Nashville Predators and the Colorado Avalanche. In total, he played 66 league matches and scored 13 (3+10) points. From 2020 to 2021 he represented St. Petersburg SKA. As part of the Russian youth team, he twice became the silver medalist of the World Championship.
