Kane double helps Bayern beat Augsburg in Bundesliga
MOSCOW, 27 Aug – Bayern beat Augsburg in the second round match of the German Football Championship.
The meeting in Munich ended with the score 3:1 in favor of the hosts. As part of the winners, Harry Kane (40th and 69th minutes) scored his first goal from the penalty spot in the match. Augsburg scored Dion Bele (87th minute), an own goal scored by Felix Uduohai (32). 28-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder Josua Kimmich made his 350th appearance for the Munich club.
“Augsburg” can not win the Bundesliga in the fifth match in a row – last season the team lost in the last three rounds, and in the first round of this championship tied with “Borussia” from Mönchengladbach (4:4).
In the next round, Bayern on September 2 in Mönchengladbach will play against Borussia, Augsburg will host Bochum on the same day.
In another match of the day Frankfurt “Eintracht” in the first minute compensated for the second half in the minority snatched a draw in a guest meeting with “Mainz” – 1:1.
