MOSCOW, 21 July – Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov reached the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Hamburg, the prize fund of which exceeds 1.7 million euros.
In the second round, the Russian, seeded under the seventh number, beat the Italian Fabio Fognini with a score of 6:3, 7:5. Tennis players spent 1 hour and 43 minutes on the court.
Khachanov’s next opponent will be the winner of the match between Carlos Alcaras (Spain, top seed) and Filip Krajinovic (Serbia).
