Kasatkina dropped to eighth in the Women’s Tennis Association championship race

MOSCOW, 24 Oct – Russian Daria Kasatkina dropped from seventh to eighth position in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) championship race, an updated version of which is published on the official website of the organization.
Pole Iga Swiatek remains the leader of the season. Russian Veronika Kudermetova is still in ninth place, Ekaterina Alexandrova has lost one position and is in 19th place. Lyudmila Samsonova moved up from 22nd to 20th place.
Points in the championship race are awarded according to the same principle as in the WTA rankings, but are reset to zero at the beginning of each calendar year.
