MOSCOW, 29 Oct – Russia’s Daria Kasatkina will play Poland’s Iga Swiatek, American Corey Gauff and Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia in the group stage of the final tournament of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
The group stage draw took place on Friday.
Ons Jaber from Tunisia, American Jessica Pegula, Greek Maria Sakkari and Belarusian Arina Sobolenko will play in another group.

In the doubles tournament, the composition of the two groups was also determined.
The first included Czechs Barbora Kreychikova and Katerina Sinyakova, Americans Jessica Pegula and Corey Gauff, Chinese women Yifan Xu and Zhaoxuan Yang and the American-Dutch duet Desire Krawczyk and Demi Schurs. The second group included Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski and Mexican Giliana Olmos, Russian Veronika Kudermetova and Belgian Elise Mertens, Ukrainian Lyudmila Kichenok and Latvian representative Alena Ostapenko, as well as Anna Danilina from Kazakhstan and Brazilian Beatrice Haddad Maya.
The final WTA tournament, the total prize fund of which is $5 million, will be held from October 31 to November 7 in Fort Worth, USA. The top two tennis players from each group advance to the semi-finals. Spaniard Garbine Muguruza became the winner of last year’s tournament.
