They decided to team up with their brand ‘Gali’. He auctioned many cricket goods including his bat. This process was completed by Team India Fans Army ‘Bharat Army’ along with Gali. Rahul’s bat was auctioned for Rs 2,64,228.
The amount to be collected from the auction will be given to the Aware Foundation. The bat that Rahul has auctioned, he scored 111 against Sri Lanka in the World Cup. Apart from this, the helmet of the Indian opener was auctioned for 1 lakh 22 thousand and 677 rupees.
Pads were auctioned for 33 thousand 28 rupees, one-day jersey 1 lakh 13 thousand 240 rupees, T20 jersey 1 lakh 4 thousand 842 rupees, test jersey 1 lakh 32 thousand 774 rupees and gloves 28 thousand 782 rupees.
Rahul had decided to auction his belongings on his birthday (18 April). However, information was given about it on 20 April.
He had said, “Since it is a special day for me, I and” Gali “have decided to do something special. I have decided to donate my cricket pad, my gloves, helmet and some of my jerseys to the ‘Bharat Army’. They are going to auction these things and the fund will be given to the Aware Foundation. It is a foundation that helps children. It is very special and I could not have chosen a better day (birthday) to do so.”
Rahul donated cancer to children last year. Rahul regularly declares to help the charitable organization on social media and also makes people aware of it. 28-year-old Rahul had decided to support Phool Varsha, a charitable organization.
It feeds weak and poor people in lockdown. Along with this, Rahul also announced to help the Stay Stay Institute. This organization provides food to stray animals in Bengaluru.
