MOSCOW, 6 Aug – Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has said that the decision to extend the contract of striker Mohamed Salah gave the team an extra boost in the off-season.
In early July, Salah signed a new three-year deal with Liverpool until June 2025. According to media reports, the salary of a 30-year-old Egyptian will be from 350 to 400 thousand pounds per week.

“Salah is always full of strength and energy, he returned from vacation in good shape and with confidence in his future. Yes, it gave a new impetus to all of us, including him. To be honest, he looked very cool throughout the pre-season,” he quotes Klopp’s Liverpool Echo.
Salah joined Liverpool in 2017 from Italian Roma. He scored 156 goals and provided 63 assists in 254 appearances for the club. Together with the Reds, he became the champion of England, the owner of the FA Cup, the English League Cup, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
