Tennis player Krejcikova beat Kenin and won the seventh WTA title in her career
MOSCOW, September 17 – Czech Barbora Krejcikova beat American Sofia Kenin in the final of the WTA 500 tennis tournament in San Diego, USA, the prize fund of which is more than $780 thousand.
The meeting ended with a score of 6:4, 2:6, 6:4 in favor of fourth-seeded Krejcikova. The tennis players spent 2 hours and 38 minutes on the court.
Krejcikova is 27 years old and is ranked 13th in the world. This was the Czech’s seventh singles title, which also includes winning the 2021 French Open. Krejcikova is the winner of the Tokyo Olympic Games in doubles.
