Russian tennis player Kudermetova lost to Sakkari and did not qualify for the final WTA tournament

MOSCOW, 22 Oct – Russian Veronika Kudermetova lost to Greek Maria Sakkari in the quarterfinals of the tournament in Guadalajara (Mexico) and failed to qualify for the final tournament of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), according to the organization’s website.
Kudermetova, seeded eighth, lost to Sakkari (fourth seed) with a score of 1:6, 7:5, 4:6. Tennis players spent 2 hours and 35 minutes on the court. Thus, thanks to the victory over Kudermetova, Sakkari reached the final WTA tournament. The Greek woman became the owner of the last ticket.
